The Las Vegas Valley Water District's Centennial 2635 Zone Reservoir and 2745 Zone Pumping Station Project features a greenfield 38 MGD pump station, 5 MG reinforced concrete reservoirs, Disinfection Building, Operations Building, and all necessary appurtenant components for a fully functioning reservoir and pumping station. Working alongside MMC, Inc. as part of the Construction Team, JH Engineering, LLC (JHE) played a pivotal role, leading the planning, management, and implementation of the commissioning and startup process for this project. JHE’s expertise will be utilized to complete comprehensive functional and performance testing across various critical components, including the pumps, surge suppression system, disinfection equipment, pneumatically actuating valves, compressed air system, HVAC equipment, and instrumentation and controls (I&C).
