NICOLE WIGTIL

Commissioning Specialist

Nicole Wigtil joined JHE in April 2022 as a Commissioning Specialist. Previously, she worked as a Commissioning Engineer at G-CON Manufacturing. This gave her experience working with HMI/PLC systems, various instrumentation, piping and ductwork, HVAC systems, and more. This background helps Nicole as she reviews documents within the design phase, develops project start-up plans, and develops and executes test packages.

With JHE, Nicole has traveled to support projects in Texas, Arizona, and Nevada. One of the most memorable was the commissioning and startup of a water treatment plant for Mohawk Valley School District. It was a small project yet so impactful for the local community. Nicole and the JHE team tested each individual component. By the end, she saw every component working together to produce clean water for the community; it was truly awe inspiring to her.

From a young age, Nicole learned the importance of water conservation and water resources as she grew up in Tucson, Arizona. She attended the University of Arizona and graduated in December 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biosystems Engineering. In her studies, she focused on Controlled Environments and Water Resources.

Nicole moved to Central Texas after graduating from college. After growing up in a desert, she is enjoying the humidity and seeing more natural water throughout Texas. Nicole enjoys going swimming, bouldering, and playing video games and D&D with her husband, but she also enjoys more leisurely activities like watching TV shows and crocheting.
