Engineering & Construction Inspection Coordinator
Kirkland Fordham is an Engineering Construction Inspection Coordinator bringing 29 years of heavy Industrial and Commercial Construction Management and QA Inspection experience to the team. This experience ranges from potable water and wastewater plant facilities, large diameter pipelines, tunnels, chemical feed systems, and also medical office buildings, higher educational institutions, banks, churches and the like.
Kirkland hails from Virginia, by way of California and resides here in Central Texas, where he continues planting seeds to grow for the foreseeable future in this industry. Kirkland’s career began in Southern California where he progressed from being a young 23 year old newbie inspector to the industry to having a 14 year career. He obtained International Certification in Reinforced Concrete Inspections, along with Deputy Licenses in The Cities of San Diego and Long Beach, California.
Upon relocating to Texas, Kirkland worked for a short time in the Houston area for architects and structural engineers before moving to the Austin area, becoming the Lead Inspector and reaching Supervisor level for The City of Austin’s Facilities and Infrastructure Plant Group within the Public Works Construction Management Division.
Kirkland is an avid motorcyclist and former club racer. He loves to run the hill country roads at a moderate rate of speed or what’s known as a good clip.
Kirkland is devoted to continuing his career serving the various city, county, and municipal entities by providing the best construction quality assurance possible. Through it all, he provides his efforts with the utmost respect, dedication and honesty to JHE’s clients, stakeholders, and citizens.
