Jeff Haasch, Owner and Principal Engineer of JH Engineering, LLC brings more than 20 years of industrial construction and project delivery experience in the municipal water and wastewater industry and has operated as the lead Commissioning Director/Manager on numerous multi-million-dollar projects under many different delivery methods including, Design-Bid-Build, CMAR, CM/GC, and Design Build.
Jeff earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. While completing his degree, he began his career in the swimming pool industry gaining experience across multiple facets of the business, including service, wholesale distribution, retail operations, construction, and engineering. Over the course of his career, Jeff gained his professional engineering licensure in both mechanical and civil disciplines and is licensed in multiple states.
Shortly after obtaining his degree in 2003, Jeff accepted a Process Mechanical Project Engineering position for a general contractor in the Las Vegas area, where he was first introduced to the Water and Wastewater industry. Building on the technical foundation developed through his earlier career experience, Jeff quickly became comfortable with the much larger process equipment and piping typically used in the water and wastewater facilities. Working in the field with the craft as a project engineer, foreman, superintendent, commissioning and startup manager, and project manager, Jeff gained a significant amount of hands-on construction experience. Early in his career, he recognized the critical role that commissioning and startup plays in successful project delivery, which ultimately shaped the direction of his professional focus and led to the founding of JH Engineering, LLC.
